2007- The Drummond Family
Maria, Jose, our daughter Nicole her husband Justin, daughters
Danielle and Marisa
Jose and I are honored to serve as Festa Presidents for
2007. We are so proud to be a part of this wonderful 97 year
old tradition. With great pride we dedicate this years Festa
in loving memory of our parents George and Jean Souza. Over
the years our family has taken pride in hosting several Festa’s,
going all the way back to 1950, when our Aunt Mary and Uncle
Manuel Luz served as Festa presidents. Our deep devotion
to the Holy Spirit continued with my Uncle Frank and Aunt
Florinda Souza in 1980, and in 1984 cousin's Ralph and Janene
Feliciano also continued this great tradition. Now as Festa
presidents we have the opportunity to pass this tradition
on to our children. Our youngest daughter Danielle is so
honored to be the 2007 Festa queen. She has participated
in the Festa since she was two years old. After we were announced
as Festa presidents for 2007, Danielle said “My prayers
have been answered.” With great pride our family is
looking forward to serving our Portuguese community. We are
very grateful to all the wonderful people who continue to
support this great Portuguese tradition and look forward
to working with them.
Please join us in our upcoming event
starting on October 13 2006, with the 9th annual “Splendor
in the Grass Golf tournament “ Our Festa this year
will be May 25 thru the 27th. May the Holy Spirit continue
to Bless you
and your families.
