Frequently Asked Questions

 

Is there a deposit required, and will it be returned after the event?

A refundable "security deposit" is due at contract signing to secure your date.  Once it has been confirmed that all requirements have been met (i.e., clean up has been completed and there are no damages), the deposit will be returned.

 

Are security guards required?

Security Guards are required for any event with over 100 people, and anytime the Bar will be open for an event.  The United Portuguese S.E.S., Inc. will make the necessary arrangements and provide you with an estimated cost.

 

Do you provide catering services?

The United Portuguese S.E.S. does not provide catering services, but our Hall Manager will be happy to offer recommendations.

 

Are there any restrictions for renting the Bar only?

The Bar can be rented independent of the other banquet rooms.  The Bar is open to Adults only (age 21 years and older) - NO exceptions!  If there is another event scheduled on that date, it will require the mutual consent of both parties the "share" the facility.

 

What is included with the rental?

Use of our banquet tables and chairs, private, on-site parking, Wi-fi access and sound system.
